A reel of some of my raw video from the 05/24/2016 protests and riots at the Donald Trump rally in Albuquerque.
Since I was out all day and night with the protesters and post-rally rioters at the Albuquerque Donald Trump rally, our producers and anchor at KOB asked me to sit down and discuss the differences in the early political rally and the late violence. I elaborate here: http://www.blairrichmiller.com/2016/05/25/albuquerque-trump-protests-were-mostly-peaceful-but-unruly-people-caused-late-violence/
I was up in KOB’s Chopper 4 running the camera when we found the scene where a 9-month-old infant had been left by her abductor in a hot car in Albuquerque after an Amber Alert was issued April 11, 2016. Captured her being taken from the scene to an ambulance – the first public confirmation she was safe. This was the live broadcast as it happened.
The Gathering of Nations, which has for years been the largest gathering of Native American tribes in North America, wrapped up in Albuquerque Saturday. I shot this story, which was edited and turned into an anchor package.
I was up in Chopper 4 to capture the aftermath of a triple-fatal crash that kicked off the Memorial Day 2016 weekend. The crash happened south of San Ysidro, NM and shut a main thoroughfare through the state down for more than four hours.
While working as an intern/producer for CBS News London, I worked extensively on the terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India. This is a piece I reported, produced, and edited following the incidents.

I take a look at the state of health care in Missouri, how Missouri’s representatives in Washington have voted on key health care measures, and how much money they have received from the health industry and lobbyists.
I take a look at the state of influence lobbyists and the health industry have in Washington DC, and if their money is affecting the vote for health care reform.
